Amelia (Mella) Vedora Guiland (née Serrette) Passed peacefully on December 22, 2015. She was 92. Born in Trinidad & Tobago in 1923, she emigrated to America in 1966. She was the devoted wife of 66 years to the late Emmanuel Hilario Guiland who died in 2008. She was a wonderful and beloved mother of 11 children, 20 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren who adored her gentle, kind, and indomitable spirit. She loved the family RV cross country trips with children and grandchildren in "tow." She was curious, well-travelled, and loved a good joke. Her laughter was infectious. Her life was about bringing happiness and joy to all she knew especially her children. She radiated an inner beauty and strength of pure elegance and grace. She will be sorely missed by all she knew and loved so dearly.
