Amy C Robertson

Amy died peacefully Nov. 5 following complications from breast (2007) and unknown primary (2014) cancers. Born August 10, 1951, in Chicago, she graduated in 1969 from Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia. She earned degrees in theatre design (Webster University, 1974) and social work (Catholic University, 1978), and went on to specialize in addictions as a private practitioner in Kensington, MD. A lifelong lover of theatre, she volunteered for 8 years with the drama program at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School. Amy was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Royen Robertson (1998). She is survived by her husband, Dennis Allen Johnson, 63, and her mother, Helen Catherine Robertson, 93, both of Silver Spring, MD; son Trevor Robertson Johnson, 29, of New Haven, CT; and daughter Victoria “Tory” Catherine Johnson, 25, of Washington, D.C .
