Bonnie Mae Williams-Cutlip

Bonnie Mae Williams-Cutlip, aged 63, passed away in the comfort of her home with loved ones by her side on January 27, 2021 due to a terminal illness. She was born on April 12, 1957 at Sandy Springs Hospital in Montgomery County, Maryland to Geneva and Woodrow.

She leaves behind a very dysfunctional family and group of friends, that mostly she was proud of. Bonnie was world-renowned for her lack of patience, not holding back her opinion, and a knack for telling it like it is.

She was always more than willing to tell you how you did something wrong and then instructed you how to do it to her liking.

With that said, she was genuine to a fault, a pussycat at heart (or lion) and yet she sugar-coated nothing.

Her extensive knowledge and vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words intertwined with medical facts than most people learned in a lifetime.

Towards the end she liked three words as much as she loved her plant garden, and trust us, she LOVED to work on that garden, with us as her faithful assistants.

These words of guidance, wisdom and insight kept us in line: "COME ON, NOW". Who knew three words could express so much. Given the right inflection by her, they did just that.

Everyone always knew where they stood with her. She liked you or she didn't, it was black or white. As her close family and friends, we are still trying to figure out which one it was for us (we know she loved us).

She will be sorely missed and survived by her husband, Garl; brothers Eddie, Albin, and "brother" Mike; sisters Geneva "Pootsy", and Betty; "Daughter" Kelly; stepdaughter Jan and family; niece Dawn; and many other nephews and nieces. Also survived by her indoor and outdoor furbabies.

She was preceded in death by the husband and love of her youth, Keith; her three brothers Jimmy, Junior, and Dan; and her many beloved pets (who, let's all face it, she loved more than people). All of who loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, spirited grace, and undying love and caring for them.

Bonnie was a longtime member of the VFW in College Park, working alongside her friend Dave and enjoying the music. It was a very special place that was near and dear to her heart.

An event will be planned at a later date in her honor, in lieu of a service, due to many of her friends not being able to attend because they decided to beat her to the Pearly Gates.
