Brian Harrington Moors, a golden lion, the benevolent monarch of all he surveyed, and a FedEx courier by day, set off in search of new adventures on March 18, 2022.
Brian is survived by his wife, Elise Berg, his parents, Lelia Moors (Zanner) and Philip Moors, sisters Heather Johnson (Moors) and Kathleen Moors, grandmother Virginia Zanner (Barrett), and his beloved and spoiled Boston Terrier, O’Gravy.
Brian was born on July 28, 1980, and grew up in Washington DC. He was a well-loved and respected actor in the DC area, a natural in the spotlight, who drew tears and laughter (at the appropriate moments) from every audience. Whether it was Oscar Romero in The Fifth Sun, the wild Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors, the troubled Titus Andronicus, or most recently, a whole army of characters, including Arthur Miller’s God, for his home troupe “Off The Quill,” he captivated hearts, just as he did offstage.
Brian greatly enjoyed gaming, especially creating unique new characters, both online and in person. Through his constant humor and accepting nature, he brought together many new friends. He also loved practicing Tai Chi, as well as traveling all over to experience new places, people, and their food. Brian was deeply devoted to his wife and dog, building and protecting his little family, no matter what the world threw at him. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on April 10th at 2pm, immediately followed by a memorial service at 3pm, at Donald V. Borgwardt Funeral Home at 4400 Powder Mill Road in Beltsville, MD.
