Callie D. Thessen

February 3, 1988 — March 6, 2022

Callie passed away on Sunday morning, March 6, 2022. She was surrounded with love during her transition. Forever young. Callie was born on Wednesday, February 3, 1988 to her loving parents, Dan and Marie Thessen. Callie spent her childhood having so much fun - playing sports, going on road trips with her dad, mom and sister, and hanging out with her closest friends. She was involved in so many extracurricular activities, and as a result had so many close friends. - many of those friends became her sisters.

Callie was always so close with her family and friends, and love radiated from her in all that she did. In her childhood through high school, Callie was on the swim team, basketball team, softball team, band/orchestra, and in chorus (to name a few). She loved music, dancing, laughing, partying, and being silly and quirky - she had very eclectic interests and was not afraid to express herself.

Callie graduated from high school in 2006, where she met the love of her life.  She began to establish a career in the security field with NASA. She recently accepted a promotion and was on her way to a long and bright career.

If you ask her, her greatest joy and accomplishment were her two children. She loved being a “Boy Mom.” She loved nothing more than spending her days with her boys and her husband - riding bikes, laughing, and loving.

Callie was always up for something fun to do with her family and friends as well, especially if it involved the kids.

Callie leaves behind her husband and loving partner of 17 years, Marcus II; their two sons, Marcus “MP3” (7) and Mason (3); ); her mother Marie; her sister, Courtney (Shadonna); her stepmother Shelley; her stepsisters Jamie (Shawn) and Jesse (Mark); her mother and father-in-law Rhonda and Marcus I; her brother-in-law Chase; four nephews; three nieces; and so many more: aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Dan Thessen.
