Chela Giacchino

Passed away November 23, 2015, following a prolonged struggle with pancreatic cancer. Born and raised in Colombia, Chela met her husband, Lou, in 1955. Beloved Chela devoted her life to four children- Gina, John, Linda and Michael, and her younger sister Yolanda and family. Her sunny disposition and keen sense of diplomacy brought her a very wide circle of friends, from Hillandale neighbors to numerous real estate colleagues, from the Lido Civic Club of Washington to longtime classmates at Casa Italiana, and a lifetime of Navy friends all across the country.

Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland.
