Danette Elaine (Aplin) Wyne

Danette Elaine Wyne, age 55, died peacefully on January 8, 2017, at her sister’s home in Ellicott City, MD, after a brief struggle with cancer.  Danette was born to Delores E. Aplin and the late Jesse J. Aplin Jr. on September 4, 1961, in Cheverly, MD. Danette graduated from Glenelg High School in 1979, and shortly after gave birth to her son, Gary D. Krot Jr. in 1981.  Danette was blessed with another son, John T. Wyne, in 1990.  While raising her sons, she worked full-time cleaning houses.  The last 15 years of her life she owned and operated her own house cleaning business. People were Danette’s passion and joy. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, and there was not a stranger that she met that she did not instantly embrace as family.  Danette also loved being outdoors; she enjoyed working in the yard, fishing, and outdoor cook-outs.  Danette always loved a party and the opportunity to crack jokes, sing songs, and tell stories with family and friends.  Danette is preceded in death by her father, Jesse J. Aplin Jr., and two brothers, Robert G. and Douglas B. Aplin.   She is survived by her mother, Delores E. Aplin, brother Jesse J. Aplin III (Bucky) and wife Teresa Aplin, sister Kathryn Y. Hensley (Kathy) and husband Ricky Hensley, brother David W. Aplin, son Gary D. Krot Jr. and wife Amanda Krot, son John T. Wyne, two grandchildren Cara D. and Gavin D. Krot, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
