His knack for finding fun in even the smallest of moments made him a one-of-a-kind soul. Whether he was cracking a joke, surprising someone with a thoughtful gesture, or simply brightening the room with his presence, Dan had an extraordinary gift for making life lighter and brighter for everyone around him. He was known for creating happy memories that will be cherished forever. His warmth, humor, and zest for life brought joy to every gathering, turning ordinary days into unforgettable moments. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel at ease, leaving a legacy of kindness and laughter that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Dan’s lovely life will be held on Sunday 1/12/2025 at Borgwardt Funeral Home from 3:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to American Organ Transplant Association (AOTA).
Though Dan may no longer be with us, the love, support, and joy he gave so freely will remain a part of us forever. Let us honor his memory by living as he did—with open hearts and a readiness to show up for one another, creating happy memories along the way.
