Dennis K. Lee

Dennis Ken Lee, of Beltsville, passed away at Adventist White Oak Medical Center on February 9, 2024, with his wife and friends at his bedside. Dennis was a longtime Beltsville resident, and member of the Calverton Citizens Association. At one time, Dennis was a co-block captain with his longtime neighbor, Robert Freeman.

Dennis was born at Sibley Hospital, Washington, D.C. to Harold K. and Kim Bow Lee on May 18, 1948. He was a Life Member of the Cresap Rifle Club in Frederick, MD. He loved competitive shooting with Members of the Cresap, and visiting the Eastern Shore with his wife, Susan. He and wife Susan Virginia Lee are members of the Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Burtonsville, MD.

He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1970 with a B.S. Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He worked in the IT field as an IT Manager for 40 years.

Dennis is survived by his daughter from his first marriage, Jennifer Lee of Plano, Texas, his wife of 26 years, Susan Virginia Lee, his brother, Lou Davis (Brenda) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, nephew Christopher Ken Der (Nicole), his former wife, Linda Ng Lee, and many extended family members and longtime friends. He is greatly missed.
