Emma "Em" (Draina) Myzick

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Emma (Em) J. Myzick, at age 100 on Monday, December 12, 2022. She leaves behind her children Leo (Louise), James (Virginia), and Jeannie Farabaugh (Allen), and daughter-in-law Julie Judge. Em had three Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. Em was predeceased by her husband Leo J. Myzick in 1968 and a son, Gary, in 2002.

EM was born on August 22, 1922, in Wilkes Barre, PA. She was one of 10 siblings born and raised by her parents, the late Andrew and Helen Draina , Wilkes Barre, PA. and married Leo J. Myzick in 1944. Em enjoyed over 33 years of volunteer work with the Laurel Regional Hospital. She was a lifetime member of the College Park Knights of Columbus and provided years of volunteer services. Em has been a lifelong member and parishioner at the Holy Redeemer Church located in Berwyn, MD.

A Funerall Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 20 at 12:00 at the Holy Redeemer Church; 4902 Berwyn Rd, College Park, MD 20740 followed by a private family burial service at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Md.
