Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline Silcott; father of Allan (Lori), Dinah, Kim (Dink), the late John, and Michael; grandfather of Ashley (Justin), Ryan, Dustin, Kacie, Little John, Alison, Jason and Patrick; great-grandfather of Devin, Avery and Cadence.
He loved working on cars and was avid motorcycle rider of Harley Davidsons. Lanny had an absolute enjoyable obsession with trying to keep his yard "Home and Garden" magazine beautiful.
He worked at the Soldiers Home in Washington D.C. as an auto mechanic for over 30 years.
