James W. Hughes Jr 68, died December 17, 2015. He is survived by Veronica his wife of 30 years, his son George, sister Judy, brother Edward and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and James Hughes and a son James III..
Jimmy grew up in Greenbelt MD. and attended St. Hugh's Elementary School and De Matha High School.
He was in the US Army 1967-1968 serving a Tour of Duty in Viet Nam as Military Police.
He worked in the D.C. Government as a Traffic Adjudication Officer until his retirement in 2007.He is a Lifetime Member of American Legion Post 136, served as Past Commander and most recently as Assistant Manager.
