Janet H (Huddle) Doetsch

Janet Huddle Doetsch o f Beltsville passed away on December 20, 2015, aged 88 years.  She was a lifelong resident of Maryland, born in Baltimore to parents William and Virginia Huddle. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dr. Raymond N. Doetsch (Beltsville), her daughter Karen S. Robison (Silver Spring), her son Paul W. Doetsch  (Atlanta, GA), her son-in-law Edwin Robison, daughter-in-law Donna L. Doetsch, and grandsons Christopher Robison, Nicholas Robison, Gregory Robison and Andrew Doetsch. She was predeceased by her daughter Jennie Doetsch Burgess. A devoted member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Beltsville, she was very active for many decades in numerous church functions and organizations, including the Eleanor Hoover Circle. She was a 1948 graduate of the University of Maryland. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, gardening, collecting antiques, and supported many charitable organizations. Janet was a kind and loving woman with boundless energy and generosity, devoted to her family and friends, always ready to cheer the lives of all who were fortunate to have known her. Friends and relatives may call at Borgwardt Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 3-6 PM. Funeral service will be held at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 11416 Cedar Lane Beltsville, MD 20705. Interment George Washington Cemetery.
