Jonathan Eddy

April 30, 1985 — May 14, 2024

Our beloved Dr. Vikram Jonathan Eddy, cherished by many, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 14th, at the age of 39. Born on April 30, 1985, in Cleveland, OH, to Paul and Shaila Eddy, Jonathan spent his early years in Maryland before moving to New Jersey, where he attended middle and high school.

A graduate of South Brunswick High School, Jonathan was an honors student who excelled in academics, enjoyed playing and watching various sports, and had a passion for music. He continued his education at the University of Maryland, where he was actively involved in church activities and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Cleveland Browns. Jonathan valued family deeply and always prioritized attending family gatherings.

Driven by a passion for medicine, Jonathan pursued his dream at the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology and Physiology in 2007. He furthered his studies with a Master’s degree from Boston University and achieved his goal of becoming a doctor by graduating from Saint Kitts Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine degree. Jonathan began his medical career at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Jonathan's infectious smile and laughter brought joy to everyone around him. He loved spending time with family and friends, often going out of his way to attend family events, no matter how long the journey or inconvenient the timing. His presence at important gatherings was a testament to his unwavering commitment to those he loved, making every moment count despite often arriving fashionably late.

Jonathan is survived by his father, Paul Vijendran Eddy; his mother, Vinolia Shailaja Eddy; and his brother, Gautham Jason Eddy. He is also remembered fondly by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and numerous friends. A genuine and warm-hearted individual, Jonathan’s presence was cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be dearly missed for the joy and happiness he brought into their lives.

The family would like to thank all their family and friends who have reached out with support and condolences during this difficult time. Jonathan’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his memory will forever be a blessing.
