Joyce K. Hardisty, of Denton, MD. previously residing in Lost Creek, WV and Beltsville, MD. passed on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at home after her long battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Burton N., son Melvin Arthur (Patty); daughter, Lynda Varnado, stepdaughter, Bonnie (Steve) Wheatley; grandchildren Vicki (Kellee) Hardisty, Michelle (Mathieu) LeRoux, Jeffrey (Crystal) Slye, Sarah and Tony Varnado. Great-grandchildren, Ashton Slye, Cayson Hardisty, Mason LeRoux, Emberlyn and Madelyn Slye. She is preceded in death by stepdaughter, Rose Owens.
