Juan Antonio Valladares

July 8, 1957 — May 24, 2020

Beltsville

Juan Antonio Valladares was born on July 8th 1957 to mother Julia Maria Valladares and father Jose Enrique Valladares-Domingez.

Juan was the eldest out of  9 children.  As being the oldest he was one of the first to come to the United States in the 80’s in pursuit of a better life, better education, better job, and a better opportunity to succeed.

Juan married on March 20th,1983 to Carmen Dolores Cruz, between both they raised 4 beautiful children to which he cherished dearly; (Antonio Alexander Valladares, Diana Carolina Lampkin, Juan Jose Valladares, Paula Del Carmen Valladares).

Those who knew Juan knew he was a man of few words.  He was a man of action. He loved to help others if it was in his ability and rarely said no to any request. Juan once wrote that there were two things he loved with all his heart and that they ere his reasons to live: the first being God, and the second being his children.

Juan stated he loved his family because God created them, he also wrote that God is the only one who continued to give him life; without God we are nothing. Juan was a man of God, he  always wanted to make sure his children followed under his footsteps and always had the fear of the Lord in them. “For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: Whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s” (Romans 14: 7-8)

Juan was a great example for his children.  He taught them to love and to care for others. He instilled in his children the value of self-resilience, good work ethic and the love of God.  He was a great father, son, brother, grandfather, friend and a devoted man of God. We will miss him and may we be comforted to know he is in the arms of the Lord now.

Juan is predeceased by his parents and his younger brother, Moises. He is survived by his Wife and four children. You are reunited with a loving family and I know we will see each other again in time and we will rejoice. “For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 1 Thessalonians 4:14“

We Love You Papi and may you rest in peace.
