Kenneth Ray Carter

Carter, Kenneth Ray (Kenny) went to be with his Lord at the age of 68 years. Born in Martinsville, Virginia on October 18, 1953. Preceded by his Father Robert R. Cater. Survived by his loving mother Rosie M. Carter. Lovingly remember by his sisters Joyce A. York (Bobby York) of Rogersville, Missouri. Debbie Leonhart (John Leonhart, Sr). Burtonsville, MD) Nieces Sherry A. Moriarty (Erik Tolstad) Maplewood, MN, Catherine A. Mixon (James Mixon) of Oakdale MN, (Melissa Green (Mark Green) Laurel, MD , Nephew (John Leonhart, Jr)Burtonsville, MD Great Nephews Alexx and Daniel Tolstad, Maplewood, MN Jack and Luke Mixon Oakdale, MD. He was also survived numerous first and second cousins. Kenny graduated from Northwestern High school in 1971 Kenny was a 50 year member of Steamfitters Local 602. Kenny loved his dogs in lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in Kenny’s name to
the following dog shelters: Annie Carter was rescued from: Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center – 7315 Muncaster Road , Derwood, Md 20855 Toby Carter was rescued from Montgomery County Humane Society, 601 S Stonestreet Avenue 20850. Visitation will be held at Donald Borgwardt’s Funeral Home, Powder Mill Road, Beltsville, MD on
February 10, 2022 from 10:00 to 2:00.
