Kenneth Donnell Clegg, Sr.

Kenneth Donnell Clegg, Sr was born March 28, 1955 to the late Russell and Mildred Clegg in Sanford, NC. He had one brother and three sisters by birth, both Hazel and Edna preceding him in death. Near the age of six after his mother’s passing, Ken was placed in the care of foster parents Marvin and Fonnie McSwain and Maggie Richmond. All have preceded him in death.

After graduating from high school, Ken joined the U.S. Army. While serving his country, he received high marks as an expert military sniper and several other accolades. After honorable discharge from service in 1978, Ken began his life in the state of Maryland having lived in Largo, Laurel, Silver Spring, and lastly in Hyattsville. In Maryland, Ken began a life’s career in technology, database creation, computer assimilation to include numerous certifications in memory writing and technical applications. He was steadfast in his learning and grew proficient in his occupational field.

Ken had a zest for life and a fun spirit. He was a husband, a father, a brother, an uncle, and a friend to many. He leaves behind to honor his memory: his wife Patricia Marcano Clegg, daughter Princessa Palmer(NC), son Kenneth Donnell Clegg Jr(Jackie)(DE), son Leonce Richardson(NC), son Erskine Blunt(Dawn)(MI), step-daughter Oneisha Tracey Marcano(MD), step-son Dayne Marcano and step-son Kwame Marcano. He leaves behind to continue his legacy his grandchildren Anthony Palmer, Justin Palmer, Jordan Palmer, Joel Palmer, Jayden Burley, Olivia Clegg, Nayla Blunt, Unity Blunt, Martell Blunt, Jada Blunt, Orlando Blunt, Jarred Blunt, Deonquinice Blunt, Isaiah Knight, Elijah Knight, Sarayah Knight, and Azariah Knight, all of whom he loved very much. He leaves behind with love and adoration his sister Rachel Covington (Steve)(NC), brother Russell L Clegg (Gail)(VA), as well as his siblings in love Roderick McSwain, Elexis Moore, Victoria Chesney, Alvina Beck and Eric Richmond (Beck). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunts Maggie Newby and Lena Jackson, and Uncles Joseph, June, Johnny, Larry Rae, and Winford Clegg.

**As siblings, we would like to thank Cheronda(Nikki) Murchison for the care and devotion she gave to our father in his time of need as she is left to mourn him also.
