Kenneth Lawrence Taylor, of Laurel, Maryland and formerly of Mt. Savage, Maryland. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucille Beeman Taylor, and three children, David Taylor and wife Carla, Deborah Anzelone and husband, Michael, and Dianna Taylor; sister, Charlotte Nicholson and husband, Charles; granddaughter, Erin Rubright and husband, Jason, grandsons, Jeffrey Anzelone, Jensen Taylor, Jeshua Taylor and wife, Hillary; great granddaughters, Ashlyn and Gemma Taylor; also his best friend of 45 years, Steven Hill.
Ken graduated from Mt. Savage High School and moved to the DC area, becoming involved in the construction industry. He established Ken-Mar Drywall Inc., which he owned and operated for 36 years before his retirement.
Ken loved the Lord and his family, and provided friendship, love and support to many family members, friends, and others. He served as a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Beltsville for 24 years. He also worked countless hours maintaining the building and grounds.
Ken lived enthusiastically. He and Lucille travelled the world together. Ken was an avid boat captain and fisherman, big game hunter, Harley-Davidson rider, and street rodder extraordinaire building several cars from frame to finish. There is nothing he could not build or fix.
Our hearts ache at our loss, but we have many precious memories of him as a husband, father, and grandfather.
