Margaret J Booty-Jenkis

With great sorrow, the Jenkins Family announces the passing of their beloved Mother, Margaret Jean Booty-Jenkins. Maggie was born and raised in New Jersey, moving to College Park, Maryland when she married her husband of 40 years, John Gil-fischer Jenkins. Maggie's passion in life was her children, and she excelled professionally in her Administrative career at the University of Maryland. Maggie loved to make cakes and Christmas candy, listen to Patsy Cline and drive her Camaro. Maggie is known for the abundance of love she gave her family and friends, for her generous, fun-loving spirit and her ability to see the good in everyone. Maggie is preceded in death by her husband John G. Jenkins, and her sisters, Carol Lucas and Barbara Lawrence. Maggie is survived by her children, Zip Davis; John F. Jenkins (Kasey); Joseph Jenkins (Kira); Valerie Philbin; Melissa Ross-Garonzik (David); Grandchildren: Patrick, Carson, Foster, Colt, Justin, Sunset, Eleanor and Steel; Brothers David Booty and Marlin Booty; nieces and nephews. Maggie will be forever loved, celebrated and missed by the legion of family and friends whose lives she touched.
