Maria Luisa Brown went to be with the Lord on Dec.8th, 2017 in Takoma Park,
Maryland at the age of 91. She was born on May 25 th, 1926 in Lajas, Puerto Rico to
Maria Morales y Pabon and Juan Jose Lugo y Toro. She went to business college in
St. Thomas, V.I. where she met and married Eldridge Brown who was stationed
there in the Marine Corp. They lived in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and then
moved to Takoma Park, Maryland for many years. They were married for 47
years.
She is survived by her son Eldridge E. Brown of Greenbelt, MD and her daughters
Marilyn Brown of Gaithersburg, Md., Charlotte Abney (Thomas) of Frederick, Md.
And Barbara Slack (Marty) of Enumclaw, WA. She had seven grandchildren: Evan
Slack, Christina Slack, (Ben), Eldridge Brown II, Zachary Abney, Russell Abney, and
Katie Parker (James). Great grandkids are Aubrey Parker, Jack Parker, Felix Lee
and Oliver Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Brown, and daughter, Susan
