A Special Note from Her Grandchildren
They say energy never dies - it just transfers. When we think about energy, we think a lot about kindred spirits. Why, out of all God's creatures, are we chosen to be connected? It’s almost like magnetic forces in the universe pre-determine the family you are born into, the friends you make, the soulmate you’re destined to meet, and the family you build.
They say it’s the circle of life. As with any circle, you are born and go through the motions of life. And -- if you are lucky, you find and feel love from the connections you make along the way. From that love, you make your mark and plant a seed for the future.
Well, in this lifetime, God couldn’t have chosen any other grandmother for us. Our grandma was a free spirit with a roaring sense of humor that lit up any room. She was confident yet vulnerable. Witty and unapologetic for who she was. She was a fighter – up until the end. It’s the kind of spirit we wish we could have more of. A spirit we always felt connected to. A presence that brought us absolute joy.
It’s kindred spirits colliding. And it is for that reason we know this is not goodbye. It is a “see you later.” Because energy is magnetic and never dies. It transfers. And it gives us hope to think that whether in heaven or in the next life, we will be reunited again. Until then… we will miss you and hold you close to our hearts always. We love you, Pasita.
