After 98 years, Mary Johnson takes her place of repose with the multitude of those already passed whom she loved. She lived with kindness and generosity and tolerance and courage and humility. She shared herself with everyone who had the great fortune to have her in their lives. We who remain are blessed to have known her.
She is survived by children Jeanne, Sue, Mag, Mary and John III, grandchildren Erik, Kelly, Maureen, Eoin, Meghan, Sarah, Rachel, Lisa, Luke, Kate and John IV, great grandchildren Lily, Riley, Eden, Charley, Lachlan, Vaila, Mia, Lana, Luke, Grace, Blake, Zoe and John V., spouses and partners of her children Gregg, George, Johnny B, Mark and Louise and friends too numerous to remember, much less name.
Her generation, the Greatest Generation, built much of the world we live in and she nurtured our family in it with her husband, John Frederick Johnson, Jr (deceased). She inspires us to demonstrate her legacy of love in all that we do with each other and with all of those we meet along the way. She lights the way for us to better lives in a better world.
