On January 21, 2024, Myrna Ingrid Robinson, affectionately known as Pinky, age 60, lost her battle with cancer. Myrna was born in Manhattan, New York to Joan Robinson and the late George Gill. Myrna was a graduate of the Lexington School for the Deaf. After graduation, Myrna worked for the Federal Government in various positions up until her passing. Myrna lived her life to the fullest and never let her disability stop her. Her smile and boisterous laugh were infectious and she lived to celebrate life. Being around friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews was something she regarded dearly. Myrna is survived by her mother, Joan Robinson. 5 sisters, Chimene Jules, Dorothy Gill, Monica Gill, Dr. Tiffany Gill, and Elissa Hinton. One brother, Ronnie Gill. 6 nieces, Chantal Brown, Myshelle Capussi, Victoria Hinton, Andria Pittman and Layla Carter. 9 nephews, Matthew Robinson, Drayton Jules, Jonathan Hinton, Michael Robinson, Darien Pittman, Kevin Williams, Kareem Williams, and Terrel Williams. 3 great nieces, Yara Capussi, Lauren Curtis and Muse Fowlkes. 3 great nephews, Solace Fowlkes, Syre Fowlkes, and Alessandro Capussi along with a host of cousins, extended family, and friends. She will remain in our hearts always.
