Patricia A (Wynkoop) Washington

Patricia Ann (Wynkoop) Washington; devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on December 18, 2016. Born on March 18, 1954, and raised in Greenbelt, MD; Patty attended school in Greenbelt and graduated from Parkdale High School in 1972. She retired from PGCPS as a school bus driver after many years of service. Wife of the late Ves Washington; beloved mother of Jeff Wynkoop; grandmother of Jeffrey, Jakhari, and Chantel; sister of Nancy (Jay) Remenick and John "Dicky" Wynkoop; aunt of Tommy and Barbara "Sunshine" and Kimberly; great-aunt of Matthew, Patrick, and Tiphanie. Daughter of the late Henry and Mary Wynkoop; and sister-in-law of the late Linda Wynkoop. She also leaves behind her beloved cat and best friend, Tabby, and a host of other loving family and friends. Because Patty had a strong passion for animals, please make donations to the Greenbelt Animal Shelter or the Humane Society.
