Paul Gardiner

Paul E. Gardiner, son of the late John and Grace Gardiner was born on December 2, 1964 in Silver Spring, MD.  At age 16 he joined Branchville Volunteer Fire Dept. where he was an active member for 14 years. He was a proud Navy veteran and enjoyed reminiscing about his days aboard the USS Dwight D Eisenhower.

He is survived by his wife Sunday, daughter Mandy of Leitersburg, MD, two step children; Matthew (Danielle) Wert of Danville, PA and Kristin Cook of Charleston, SC, his 8 grandchildren; Constance, Brooklynn, Osiris, Trevor, Reese, Jacob, Ella and Sophie, brother John (Janice) Gardiner of Deale, MD and sister Kathryn “Kitty” (Willis) Oliver of Riverdale, MD. His loving nieces and nephews include Kristi, Sydney, John Jr., Scottie, Shane, Ashlynn (Brandon) and David.

At his time of death, he was employed by Acts retirement-life communities. Though he was a man of few words, he loved chatting with the elderly residents on a daily basis.

He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and friends.
