Robert Wayne Langway

Robert “Bobby” Wayne Langway, 63, was a deeply loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, brother-in-law, and son-in-law. Bobby was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland and relocated to Beltsville and later on to Edgewater. He worked for Bowman Distribution/MSC for 33 years. Bobby passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023.

Bobby was predeceased by his mom (Helen Johnson) and father (Harry Langway, Sr.). He is survived by his wife (Kim), son (Troy), daughter (Brittany), grandson (Blake), daughter-in-law (Cathy), brothers (Harry, Jr. & Paul), and many nieces, nephews, & close relatives.

Bobby was the epitome of selfless - much of his spare time was spent fixing things and helping his relatives, friends, and even strangers. He had a passion for coaching sports, classic rock, corvettes, playing guitar, singing karaoke, playing trivia, and most importantly spending time with his family. Bobby never passed up an evening walk with Kim and the family dog, Boots.

We request all of Bobby’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his life at Donald V. Borgwardt Funeral Home on July 15, 2023. An open gathering will be available to anyone from 2pm – 4pm followed by a service.
