Bob is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen; his children, Joy, Scott (Diane), and Robin (Ernie); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Alison, and Parker.

Bob served in the U.S. Army for three years during the Korean War. He had a long career in the paper industry, retiring from RIS Paper Company as a Salesman. A member of the American
Legion, Bob enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including volleyball, gardening, reading, mall walking, eating breakfast with his buddies and cheering on the Washington Redskins. He was also a committed volunteer, dedicating many years to Meals on Wheels.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In honor of Bob's lifelong commitment to blood donation, we encourage you to donate blood in his name or contribute to a charity of your choice.
