Yvonne Susan Thibault Curry

Yvonne Susan Thibault-Curry, age 73, of Beltsville, MD, passed away on April 22, 2024. She was born on January 11, 1951, in Frankfurt, Germany.

Yvonne dedicated over 20 years to animal rescue in Prince George's County. The way Yvonne impacted her community with compassion, energy, kindness and humor is something we should all remember and carry forward in our own actions. She was one in a million and our community has lost one of its treasures. She will be deeply missed but her family and friends take comfort in imagining her reunion with all the dogs she's love and helped over the years.

Yvonne spent most of her career in property management before retiring and pursuing her passion as an animal advocate. In her free time, she enjoyed animal rescue, quilting, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and being outdoors working in the yard or playing with her dogs.

She is survived by her husband Bill Curry, sister-in-law Wanda Thibault, numerous nieces and nephews. Yvonne was preceded in death by her father Charles Thibault Sr., mother Phyllis Thibault, stepfather Bill Morton, and brother Charles Thibault Jr. (Ricky).
